This is the answer to my question the other day about the strange looking food picture I posted.
It's a fruit. You actually peel all that goofy outer layer off and this is the inside that you eat! LOL
It's a cross between a grape and a pear with a pit in the middle of it - tasted good.

Sorry. I would never have gotten to this so said piece of fruit after looking at the outer layer. That looks entirely tooo gross.
