Pert Plus / Sure Deodorant / School Supplies Rebate Deal at Walgreens

I posted about this Free School Supplies deal a couple days ago. However, I suggested taking advantage of this deal at CVS where Pert and Sure are Buy One Get One Free this week.

Thanks to Thrifty Florida Mama for posting about this sweet deal at Walgreen's! If you still have some of the Buy one Get one Free coupons left for Sure Deodorant then this would work out really nice. (I used mine already.)

Here's the plan:
1 Pert Plus @ 3.79
2 Sure deodorants @ 5.98
School supplies which equal up to $5.00 (there are several to choose from and using the coupons on the front of the ad you can get them for .09 each)
Use coupons:
-2.00 off Pert Plus
-2.99 Sure deodorant (BOGOF)
-1.00 Sure deodorant
-school supplies coupons

Pay less than $5.00 for whole purchase
Get back $5.00 for Sure/Pert rebate
Get back $3.79 for Pert Plus Easy Saver rebate

Rebate Tracker

Do you do send in for rebates and then forget about them? I send in for them all the time and when I get a check in the mail I have to refresh my memory what the check is for. I just found out about Rebate-Tracker from BeCentsAble and I am so excited!

If you are like millions of people who submit rebates every day and then forget about them...this is where Rebate-Tracker.com comes in. Sign up for an account and enter the relevant details every time you submit a rebate. The web site will organize your submissions, keep track and report on the money you are owed, and will even send you reminders when your rebates are due. Give it a try, it costs nothing, and will likely put a few dollars back in your wallet!

On the home page is a list of all current rebates going on right now - check them out - there are still plenty you can participate in (I've already received checks for many of these.)

Free School Supplies - Rebate!

Did you happen to notice the mail-in rebate form in the SmartSource insert from the 8/3 Sunday paper?

If you purchase $5.00 of any Pert Plus and/or Sure deodorant products between August 1, 2008 and September 30, 2008 along with at least $5.00 of school supplies you will get the price of the school supplies rebated back to you!

Now isn't that cool? Combine this deal with the CVS Buy One Get One Free deals for Pert and Sure products this week AND school products and you can double your savings!

Remember when I told you about this promotion for Outback - Request a $10.00 gift certificate by mailing in a SASE? I actually requested 4 because I was thinking that when my daughter, Tina and her husband Bryant came in town we could all go to Outback as a family and get $40.00 off our meal. Well that never happened - just didn't have time to go before the coupon expired. But when I received them in the mail there was a code for me to enter into a sweepstakes online...I WON A $100.00 GIFT CARD!!! It came in the mail this week!

I also got my 2 Walgreen's rebate cards for May and June's AARP EasySaver Rebates in the mail. These were both for $10.00 a piece and had to be mailed separate from my rebates that are just electronically added to my gift card each month. Kind of stinks because it takes so darn long to come in the mail - but it was a nice little treat getting $20.00 in on the same day!

My rebates have started rolling in this month and so far I have received:
$1.88 for Wish Bone Bountifuls
$6.99 for Febreze Noticeables
$7.97 for Live Active
$4.69 for Tums Quik Pak

Good Mail Day!

I had a GREAT mail day today! I received a $10.00 gift card to CVS as a reward I chose from having enough points in my Mypoints account. If you aren't signed up with this site I encourage you to check it out. There are many ways to earn points. I earn points by printing off my coupons from Mypoints and by doing things as a BzzAgent...which is another cool website and a great way to try out products/samples.

I got a sampling of teas from Yogi Tea and a .50 coupon. Mexican Sweet Chili tea anyone?!? Hmmm, that ought to be interesting.

Lastly I received a rebate check for $4.69 from a Tums Quickpak I picked up back in May from CVS. The great thing about this is the Tums was one of the May monthly ECB deals where I received $4.69 back in extracare bucks so these were FREE to begin with...then I mailed in my receipt along with the UPC code to this address (shown below) and I got my check in the mail today!

If you purchased a Tums Quickpak between 5/18/08 - 6/30/08 then you can receive a rebate also... but submission must be received before 7/15/08.

You can submit a 3x5 card with your full name and mailing address along with the upc off the package and your cash register receipt to the following address;
